Hardened GitHub App connections by requiring account ownership or active organisation admin access. sign-in flow now requests read:org scope to verify organisation administrators. We have also prevented existing GitHub App installations and connected repositories from being claimed by another organisation, stopped overlapping release-grouping jobs from publishing empty releases or sending misleading emails, and marked interrupted repository backfills as failed rather than leaving them indefinitely in progress.
